Here at NCC we are passionate about serving people not only spiritually but physically with food   

We have 3 main Food Projects, These are :

1. Free Food

This is where we collect food that supermarkets would otherwise throw out, but is still good for us to pass on to those who need it 

all food that we collecte is either put out on our food stand which is located in the front foyer of Our chrch building or we cook it up for either the lego club meal or the heat hub meal.       food that needs to be chiled is placed in the free food fridge ready for those in need to take what they can use.

We also have a lady who runs the  Real Junk food Project ..Faith Strickland who collects and delivers food to us daily

2. 

The Heat Hub started a few years ago when we just came out of lockdown and started to host meals on a Thursday evening for those who where in need of a hot meal, We now have upwards of 30+ people who come along every Thursday Evening, if you would like to attend then please just come along.

All our meals are made up Ready Steady Cook Style and we do try to make them as healthier as we can.

During the Christmas break we do a meal every day for people to come and joy last Christmas we managed to cook up some 375 meals in the week.

We do try and cater for all dietry needs as long as we know before hand.   

3.Kindness Cupboard

We also Support Pyle Street Pantry 

The Free Food Project Started around locldown when people where in need of food, As a church we put appeals out for food so that we can distribute to those who needed it, and since then we have Our Kindness Cupboad.

The Kindness Cupboard is where people can come and without judgement collect free food, the cupboard is stocked with a selection of food items , personal care items, baby food/milk. this cupboard is stocked from items that get donated by companies like Utilita, Morissons, M&S, CO-OP East cowes, and also Newport Football Club(they have a collection point). Without the support from these companies thekindness cupboard would and could not exsist.

Heat Hub
